It would be easy to blame Lex. To add an accusation of stealing Lana to everything else Clark had accused Lex of up to now. However, standing here, isolated from the two of them, Clark is surprised to find that most of his rage directed at Lana. It wasn't just for leaving him, but for stealing Lex too.

Lex is his friend and no one else had the right to him. Lana wouldn’t even know Lex if it hadn’t been for Clark prompting her to talk to him about converting The Talon.
Clark knows, doesn't he, that the Luthors were friends with Aunt Nell, and that Nell had her birthday party at the mansion in "Craving," before the Talon renovation project began.
