So sweet and funny and lovely! Perfect reading for a winter's night. I liked Kara's role in the story, especially this bit:
“Lana would never hurt Clark,” Kara said with just the barest hint of uncertainty in her voice. “She loves him.”
“Does naivete about Lana run in the family?” Lex asked with a sigh, as he climbed back to his feet.
Hee! And this part is hilarious! Lex was still staring at Clark, convinced he had imagined the softly spoken words. He was brought out of his reverie when Lana flew at him with a cry, small fists pounding on his chest.
