“I can’t believe it took us this long to get here,” Lex murmured as they sat curled up in front of his fire.
“Mmm…” Clark agreed. “We’ve got a lot of time to make up.”
“We should do some celebrating.”
“Ok, what did you have in mind?”
“This house has a lot of rooms, Clark, we need to ‘celebrate’ in all of them. Now.”
Clark could only laugh as Lex tugged him to his feet. “Which room do you want to start in?”
“Well, we’re already here. Merry Christmas, Clark.”
This was definitely going to be the best Christmas ever.
