*splutters* i mean, i KNEW, but... that AI just KILLS me! i mean, It makes things so COMPLICATED! Couldn't It just have told Clark he was connected to Lex, chose him long ago, and to stop hiding from it and act on it, and thus get Clark to 'deliver the payload' himself?
No, of course not; that would never occur to it because It thinks emotions have nothing to do with anything!
And if It did, LOL, It would surely have handled it all wrong, told Clark the WHY, and Clark would never have been brave enought touch Lex EVER...and suddenly I seem the AI might have had good reason to do it this way.
But still. To decide the only other course was rape by surrogate sperm-carrier is just...
