Pairing: Possibly Clark/Lex if you look closely
Yes, I stole the idea shamelessly from Buffy. Just my way of coping with the trauma that was Shattered and Asylum
In his dreams he doesn’t run and instead he takes Lex somewhere safe.
In his dreams he gets to Lex before the doctor can flip the switch that will fry Lex’s brain.
It’s different each time.
Sometimes there’s no Kryptonite and he breaks Lex out of Belle Reve easily.
Sometimes Lionel is there and Clark hurts him in ways he didn’t even know were possible. It scares him how good it feels.
One time he didn’t get Lana involved so she didn’t get hurt either.
But in his dreams one detail is always the same.
Every night he saves him.
