An event like this had been unprecedented. That a vampire could have a soul was unusual, that a vampire could lose his soul through a moment of perfect happiness was even more so, but nothing could have prepared them for this.
Angelus grinned, showing his fangs to the collection of bodies at his feet. Too bad they hadn’t lived long enough to regret the decision that had set him free once more.
On the floor of his Wolfram and Hart office the new bottle of hair mousse, that had been guaranteed to last, lay discarded.
And his hair looked perfect.
